Wuhan is China’s most central city and the capital of Hubei Province. It has an urban population of 7.9 million. Wuhan is a famous historical and cultural city, a major financial center, and one of the largest cities in China. However in 2020, Wuhan maps typically show Wuhan as the city most affected by coronavirus.
On this page, we update the COVID-19 situation with a map followed by a table of coronavirus China stats. Below that are our Wuhan’s Location in China Map and Hubei Province Map.
1. COVID-19 Policy for Travelers Currently Living in China: Travelers need to show an ID card or passport with their Health Code (follow link for China Daily’s explanation of the Alipay health monitoring app) to enter hotels and tourist attractions. Not all hotels can accept foreigners: please double check with the hotel before you book. All inbound visitors (including from Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Macau) must be quarantined in specific places. People have to provide a nucleic acid test certificate and/or blood test certificate (within 7 days) if coming from “high-risk areas”. You can check with us if you want to learn more details about high-risk areas and testing.
2. More students return to school in May including kids to kindergartens. When more cities achieve zero cases of coronavirus, it is no longer necessary for students to wear face masks in schools.
3. China Bars Entry to Foreigners Due to the Risk of Imported Infections.
To fight the continuing spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus Disease 2019), China has decided to temporarily suspend entry into the country for all foreigners. This ban also applies to travelers who currently hold valid tourist or business visas, have a residence permit, or qualify for the visa-free policy. These new rules are effective from March 28, 2020.
Entry with a diplomatic visa, service visa, courtesy visa, or C visa will not be affected. For other necessary or emergency entry into China, travelers will need to apply for a new visa at the Chinese Embassy. Travelers with visas obtained after March 28th will be allowed to enter China. This measure is only temporary according to the notice from the Chinese Embassy.

Trip Advisor868+ ExcellentReviewsFeedback from our guests on our handling of the itinerary during the outbreak.
I would like to report my experience with this travel agency and in particular with Mr. Zac Wang. I contacted Zac a few months ago to organize a trip to Yunnan with some potential extensions. He had been incredibly helpful and always super-responsive to all my mails. At the beginning of January i have paid my deposit for the trip. In the last few days, my family has decided to postpone the trip. Zac has replied immediately proposing some alternatives, but due to current uncertainty we have preferred to ask the refund of the deposit. I have received the money on my account in less than 24 hours! I was impressed by the professionalism and honesty of Zac and his company. I will for sure rely on them to organize my next trip to China, which i hope will be very very soon!
